Biography

Kincaid is an entrepreneur and business founder with a pay-it-forward passion for teaching, coaching, and mentoring.

He co-founded — and later sold to a Fortune 500 company — a Southern California-based real estate and hospitality company that combined real estate and the sharing and experience economies.

As entrepreneur, part-time adjunct lecturer, and executive coach, Kincaid supports the growth of students, business owners, and emerging leaders in advancing knowledge, insight and confidence to thrive in the business world.

Prior to embarking on entrepreneurial ventures, Kincaid worked in corporate leadership positions as vice president and general manager for media companies in Des Moines, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Los Angeles. He began his career in sales and marketing positions in Des Moines, after graduating from the University of Iowa.

Kincaid is an active real estate investor and business owner and a part-time adjunct lecturer at the University of Iowa JPEC in entrepreneurship and innovation. He serves on the advisory board for the University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center.

Kincaid also lectures at the University of California, teaching courses in negotiations, leadership development, and entrepreneurial management.

Kincaid has a master’s of science degree from the University of San Diego School of Business in executive leadership and a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa. Originally from Fairfield, Iowa, Kincaid lives in Southern California and Iowa.
