Simmie is the chief operations officer at Changing Images Communications PLC, where he oversees operations and service quality. He also works with digital startup founders to improve their soft and technical skills, as well as provide business development consulting.  

Simmie has a bachelor's degree in medicine and a master's in business administration. He is driven to create an environment that allows aspiring changemakers to scale up their solutions and make a positive difference in their community.

Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Simmie intends to be a prominent figure in large-scale skill-building interventions throughout East Africa.
