PRISCILLA TAWIAH
Priscilla Adom Tawiah has over twelve years of experience in business management. Currently, Priscilla is the Project Lead at PEL’s Farms and Trading Enterprise, an agribusiness company that produces poultry and poultry products as well as vegetables for both the local and export markets. She is committed to the expansion and diversification of her company into a commercially viable agribusiness beyond the shores of Ghana. Priscilla is also the Co-Founder of SackRevolution, where she mentors urban dwellers on how to grow organic food crops in sacks and other receptacles. She believes that one of the sustainable ways of achieving UN Sustainable Development Goal 1 (No poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing) is to get everyone into the production of organic food crops in the most innovative ways possible. As a leader, she opines that one must be focused, resilient and persistent in the face of challenges. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Priscilla plans to leverage the knowledge acquired, and the network developed to expand her organizations into the West African Sub-Region and beyond while creating more employment opportunities.
