Biography

Steenhoek teaches undergraduate and graduate coursework in entrepreneurship, innovation, strategic business growth, and business consulting. He has expertise in group facilitation, online learning design/delivery, and entrepreneurial best practices such as Design Thinking, the Business Model Canvas, and Customer Discovery. Steenhoek has wide-ranging entrepreneurial experience in industries such as education, information security, and recycling of electronics. Before his entrepreneurial and educational interests, Steenhoek served as an executive for an international insurance company where he oversaw all company operations. Steenhoek has an undergraduate degree in marketing and a master’s degree in adult learning and organizational performance from Drake University.
