FALMATA HASSANE AWADA

Falmata Hassane Awada has over five years of experience in Software Engineering. She is co-founder of SAHITNA, a Tech start-up that aims to provide innovative technologies for social good. Currently, she works as a Data Engineer consultant in FAO Subregional Office for West Africa and contributing to the implementation of digital solutions proposed by FAO. Falmata holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from Ecole Superieure Polytechnique of Dakar. She is committed to making available to people the innovative solutions that could improve their lives and empower young women of her community in ICT. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Falmata plans to position her company as a leader in implementing digital innovations for sustainability and thus create job opportunities.
