MATHEWS DUNGA
Mathews Dunga has over six years of experience in Social Entrepreneurship, focusing on providing a sustainable solution to an "income generation problem" of rural honey-producing communities in Malawi. Mathews also co-owns and runs a social enterprise called Honey Products Limited, an enterprise that creates economic opportunities and conserves forests through sustainable beekeeping. Mathews’ key role focuses on leadership, business strategy and development, community impact development, and team-building. He is motivated by his aspiration to improve the level of creativity and innovation while promoting sustainable living and economic independence among economically active rural poor, hence his passion for social entrepreneurship. Upon the completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Mathews intends to use his experience to create and innovate unique products and services with rural communities for sustainable income generation opportunities in rural communities of Malawi.
