Swenson is a seasoned business advisor and entrepreneurial learning instructor. As the statewide instructor for the University of Iowa’s Venture School program, Swenson guides entrepreneurial cohorts across six locations in the state. The program employs a lean startup framework to transform business ideas into viable market solutions through rigorous customer discovery.

Previously, Swenson served as director of the Kirkwood Small Business Development Center, where he counseled thousands of small businesses, startups, and aspiring entrepreneurs. With extensive experience in management, sales, marketing, customer service, retail, and business ownership, Swenson brings a wealth of knowledge to entrepreneurs.
