Tientega has more than nine years of experience in sustainable food systems and waste management in Burkina Faso, Mali, and Senegal. Currently, he is working in Burkina Faso as a capacity-building expert for Enabel. Tientega is also responsible for Association Yikre, which has been organizing an annual TEDxOuagadougou conference since 2017. Tientega holds a master’s degree in innovation and partnership for rural development. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Tientega plans to create community gatherings in the suburbs through TEDx events to strengthen the sharing of ideas and to foster the creation of entrepreneurial initiatives with high social impact.
