Priscilla Naa Aklerh Okantey has more than nine years of experience in social entrepreneurship and project management. Currently, Okantey is chief executive officer at Madina Job Center, which provides opportunities for employment, vocational skills acquisition, and entrepreneurship and leadership training to vulnerable youth in rural and urban Ghana. The Madina Job Center has influenced the lives of 4,100 youth in Ghana since November 2020. In 2013, Okantey founded ReachOut World Mission, which focuses on street child reintegration and on youth and women’s empowerment. ReachOut World Mission has improved the lives of more than 11,000 vulnerable street children, women, and youth in seven regions in Ghana. A 2018 Queen’s Young Leader, a 2018 Obama Leader, and 2019 Ghana Lifestyle Philanthropist of the Year, Okantey holds a master in business administration degree and a bachelor of science degree in geology from the University of Ghana. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Okantey plans to continue her work, growing in leadership to establish a scalable youth development center in Ghana that will serve as a homeless shelter and skills training center.
