Mabety Soumah

Trained in modern languages and literature, Soumah writes for young adults to educate them about sexuality and puberty. She is founder of Betty Café Littéraire, a community book cafe that aims to stimulate youth interest in reading and intellectual development. Soumah also has more than seven years of experience in administrative and human resource support. Currently, she is an executive assistant for the Autorité de Régulation des Postes et Télécommunications, a government agency in Guinea. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Soumah plans to pursue a career in communication and international relations and to expand the book cafe.
