Msukwa has more than 10 years of experience in sexual and reproductive health services. Currently, Msukwa is founder and executive director at Uchembere Wabwino Maternity, where she focuses on providing sexual and reproductive health services and advocating for the rights of women and adolescents. She also volunteers at the You Are Not Alone Foundation as a health educator and counselor; the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative as a recruitment ambassador for Malawi; the University of Washington’s Global Health Department as an online program coordinator for Malawi for professional development courses, and the Your Time Women’s Empowerment Foundation, distributing menstrual cups and coaching women in hygiene management. She is also an alumna of the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative and the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs. Msukwa holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and midwifery, and is committed to helping women obtain sexual and reproductive health services and promoting the rights of women and youth. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Msukwa plans to design data-driven interventions that improve access to sexual and reproductive health services and provide information to youth and women in Malawi.
