Do you have an innovative idea, research project, or startup concept? Now’s your chance to bring it to life!

The John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center’s (JPEC) Innovation Challenge is a university-wide competition designed to identify, advance, and support the most creative and entrepreneurial projects across campus.

Elevator Pitch Competition

Pitches will be held in person on campus Nov. 17–18, 2025

  • Faculty

  • Staff

  • Graduate Students

  • Post Docs

  • Undergraduate Students

Competition Details:

You’ll deliver a 2-minute pitch followed by Q&A with the judges. This is your chance to showcase your idea, your passion, and your vision for impact.

What you'll need to do:

Problem Identification – Is the problem clear and supported by evidence?

Solution – Is the solution valuable and well-defined?

Feasibility – Can it be implemented? What are the next steps?

Delivery & Engagement – Is the presentation compelling and enthusiastic?
