OpenLoop named Startup Technology Company of the Year

OpenLoop, a web-based platform to streamline hiring clinicians to work at different hospital systems, was named Startup Technology Company of the Year as part of the Prometheus Awards presentation on Nov. 4 by the Technology Association of Iowa (TAI). The company was co-founded by University of Iowa graduate Jon Lensing.
University of Iowa, EFE Will Train Saudi Women on Entrepreneurship

The University of Iowa will honor nine recipients of its second annual Iowa Innovation and Entrepreneurship Honors. The awards are presented by the University of Iowa’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (JPEC). Established in 1996, Iowa JPEC is the University of Iowa’s hub for entrepreneurship education and outreach. A recognition event will be held Oct. 8.
