Miller started as communications specialist for Iowa JPEC on June 23, 2021, after spending nearly 14 years in the University of Iowa Athletics Department. During his time in athletics, Miller held titles director of new media, director of athletics content, and director of multimedia programming. Prior to that, Miller spent nearly 20 years working in the newspaper and sports information professions. He is a 1984 graduate of Tipton (Iowa) High School and a 1988 graduate of Wartburg College, majoring in communication arts (journalism/public relations). Miller and his wife, Ann, have four grown children: Ashley, Melissa, Brittney, and Kyle, and five grandchildren.
