Benning joined the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center in March 2023. Through alumni events and outreach, she creates meaningful moments of connection that support the entrepreneurial community at the University of Iowa.

An established entrepreneur, Benning founded Neat Spaces, a residential organizing business, in 2018.  Benning holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa.

A native of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Benning and her husband Michael, director of digital marketing at the University of Iowa, live in Iowa City with their children.
