Westercamp manages Iowa Venture Mentoring Service, a sister program based on the world-renowned MIT Venture Mentoring Service model. Iowa Venture Mentoring Service links entrepreneurial ventures with experienced mentors to support entrepreneurs in the University of Iowa community, advance economic development in the state of Iowa and beyond, and continue Iowa JPEC’s role as an innovative leader. Westercamp also supports entrepreneurship classes and other JPEC mentoring programs. She previously worked for the Carver College of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in University of Iowa Health Care. Westercamp is a native Iowan and enjoys being active in her community by volunteering and serving on boards.
