Biography

Jordan, senior business development manager for Mortenson, earned a BA in marketing: entrepreneurship from the University of Northern Iowa in 1991 and MBA from the University of Iowa in 1998. Over the last 24 years, Jordan has held a variety of marketing and business development positions with companies like Amana Refrigeration/Whirlpool Corporation, US Bank, and Terry Lockridge & Dunn, Inc. For 14 years, prior to joining Mortenson in January 2015, he served as the vice president of economic development/economic development strategists for the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance, a nonprofit economic development, community development, and business support organization. During that time, Jordan worked with a number of North American and European companies on expansion projects throughout the Cedar Rapids area. His current role is to lead business development efforts in the state of Iowa for higher education, healthcare, hospitality, and corporate office construction and development.
