Bob Walker

Associate Professor of Instruction
Biography

Walker serves as associate professor of instruction for Iowa JPEC and adviser for I-Envision, Enactus, and Sigma Nu Tau. He and his wife led students to India in the the winter of 2019 for the Healthcare and Entrepreneurship class. Walker has more than 25 years of experience in higher education as associate professor and degree coordinator with Kirkwood Community College, and associate professor and department chair at Mount Mercy University. Walker has been active in the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), SIFE/Enactus, and the Disney College Internship Program. Walker has experience in the banking industry, running his own consulting practice and involvement in small business startups. He and his wife co-authored the college textbook “Personal Finance: Building Your Future” with McGraw-Hill, which is in its second edition. Walker earned a bachelor's degree from Miami University, MBA from the University of Iowa, and PhD from Iowa State University.
