Ryan Gudenkauf and his company PTXtension was the biggest winner at the University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC) Undergraduate Startup Incubator Spring Final Pitch Competition on May 5 at MERGE in Iowa City, Iowa.
Gudenkauf placed first and earned $2,500, and he also won the Crowd Choice award for $500. Second place and $1,000 went to Indya Smith-Johnson and her company Indya Heart Studios. Winning third place and $500 was Conner Boerm and his company TeleNu.
There were two $250 winners in an Elevator Pitch category: Madeleine Humpal-Pash with ChemoCare Solutions and Sabrina Shaw with Urban Wave Embroidery.
