MANDELA WASHINGTON FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

In 2016, for the first time in University of Iowa history, Iowa JPEC partnered with the Institute for International Business to host 25 Mandela Washington Fellows from Sub-Saharan African countries. During the summer of 2017, Iowa JPEC once again is welcoming 25 Mandela Washington Fellows from Sub-Saharan African countries to the University of Iowa.

TRAINING PROGRAMS

NASBITE Accredited CGBP Online and  Exam Prep – The CGBP credential “confirms knowledge in international trade and assures that employees are able to practice global business at the professional level required in today’s competitive environment.” Sign up by September 30, 2017 for the next training!

INTERNATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUMMIT

The IIB partners annually with the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Iowa City Area Development Group (ICAD) to host the International Entrepreneurship Summit each spring. Check back late for additional details regarding the 2018 International Entrepreneurship Summit.

BUSINESS CONSULTING

The Institute for International Business works in partnership with the Entrepreneurial Management Institute to provide international business consulting services to small- and medium-sized Iowa companies.

LECTURES

The Institute for International Business partners with several state, national, and international organizations to bring world business leaders and opportunities to Iowa companies.
