Spark your creativity!  Game Changer is an event that provides participants a platform to develop “impact-driven entrepreneurship” that will address a United Nations Sustainable Development goals.

Here’s the scoop:

On Friday afternoon, we’ll gather and do a few ice breakers before we begin to form teams.  We’ll then present the challenge to you and set the stage for how you begin to create solutions through the Design Thinking process.

Design Thinking presents a set of tools that allows you to engage with the PROBLEM and people that have the problem. This is a well-known and current method used by organizations and companies to develop innovation products and solutions. Understanding WHO, WHAT and the IMPACT of the problem leads to solutions that become a GAME CHANGER.

JPEC’s Game Changer event challenges you to change perspectives, develop critical thinking and team building skills about how to find viable, high-impact solutions to problems that we face on a local, national or global scale.

Throughout the event, participants will learn the five-stage Design Thinking process (Empathy, Define, Ideation, Prototyping and Testing) to develop solutions to challenges that are based on sustainable development goals.

By Saturday afternoon you and your team will be ready to take the challenge head on and present your solution in a 5-minute pitch to judges for CASH PRIZES!

In addition to winning cash for your pitch, we will also be awarding prizes for teams and individuals in various categories.  No experience is necessary to participate!
